On 8 February 1955 the Secretary of State sealed the "Pro Forma Amended
Decree of Westminster Place Association", thus amending the original
Charter dated 9 January 1939. It is interesting to note that one
provision of this amendment called for "promoting temperance, obedience
to law and good citizenship". This provision is no longer printed in
copies distributed to property owners.
